Boons in Alliance Atlanta

Boons can be obtained in several ways:

Purchase: 100 Goblin Stamps at Logistics.

Orders: Members of an Order receive one free Boon tied to their Order.

Exception: Characters in training for Serratura nobility may choose between Serratura’s Boon or the Boon of the Order they intend to join after training.

Tendril: As the last of the Beings of Power, Boons may be granted directly by Tendril’s capricious will, bestowed as gifts or bargains that reflect her unpredictable nature.

Treasure: Rarely discovered during adventures.

Limitations

Only one Boon may be active per event, even if you have multiple. Your chosen Boon is set at the start of the event and lasts five days. Boons are a local chapter only effect and cannot be transferred to other Alliance Chapters.

The Living Power of Boons

As Chalameria has grown, it has become clear that Boons are not static gifts. They draw upon the lingering essence of the sleeping Beings of Power and are bound to the Virtues and Vices of the people. Their strength—and at times even their very availability—shifts with the community, waxing when virtue prevails and waning when vice takes hold.

Before each event, the current status of Boons will be posted during preregistration so players know what options and strengths are available.

Players may earn Boons through many paths, but only one may be chosen as their active Boon for any given event.

A Choice That Shapes the World

Will you walk the path of virtue, strengthening the Boons and uplifting the Orders?
Or will you give in to vice, risking their corruption and the consequences that follow?

In Chalameria, every decision matters. Your choices will not only shape your personal legacy but also influence the balance of power for the entire community.

What legacy will you leave behind?

Boons of the Orders: echoes of the Beings of Power—gifts of their lingering energy and timeless wisdom.

Now that the Beings of Power have gone to their slumber, their hold upon the world of mortals has begun to fade. The bonds that once tied the Books to the land grow thin, their brilliance diminished. When the Books reappear, they shall still serve as a bridge—granting mortals a link to their Orders and the Boons they bestow—but nothing more. All other powers once drawn from the Books have guttered out, leaving behind only echoes. No longer can the people of Chalameria lean upon the endless gifts of our good neighbors. From this day forward, they must rely upon themselves, upon their wits, their courage, and the institutions they build to weather what is yet to come. To walk this path, mortals must bind themselves to the Orders. There are two ways:

  • By securing a Boon through the offering of Goblin Stamps, as permitted by the great accords.

  • Or, by swearing loyalty to an Order upon its Book. To do so, one must hold the Book, recite the Oath of the Order, and be witnessed by a member of the nobility. In that moment, the oath becomes more than words—it becomes a bond of chivalry and wisdom, a pledge that shapes destiny.

Below is the current list of Boons available to players. Choose with care—for the fate of your character, the slumbering Beings of Power, and the people of Chalameria are forever intertwined with the decision you make.

The Order of Alarion and The Boon of the Unicorn (currently unavailable for purchase)

Radiant Release – Once per event, you may call upon the Unicorn’s blessing to shatter the chains that bind you. You may activate this boon to resist one of the following: a Command, Bindings, a Curse, or a Prison spell (by Cloaking it). For in purity there is freedom, and in honor, release from corruption.

Noble Resurgence – Alternatively, once per event, you may claim from the Unicorn a single Martial or Scholarly Recharge Prowess. The Unicorn teaches that even the fallen may rise again, that honor is renewed not by perfection, but by the courage to stand once more.

The Order of Averin and The Boon of the Greater Elemental

Celestial Channeling Pool: Participants may receive a 50-point Celestial Channeling Pool (no source required) once per event.

Scholar’s Rekindling: Alternatively, a participant may claim a single Scholarly Recharge Prowess once per event.

The Order of Egeria and The Boon of the Chimera

Predator’s Patience – Once per event, one may call upon me to gain a Resist Poison or an Evade, for survival belongs not to the reckless but to those who endure.

Hunter’s Respite – Alternatively, one may claim from me a single stealth Recharge Prowess once per event, for knowledge is to be renewed, not consumed.

The Order of Gale and The Boon of the Dragon

Artisan’s Grace – Once per event, you may invoke my favor to conduct quicken aid in 3 seconds, or conduct a field repair to a broken item as if under the quicken meditate effect, or restore a non-mediatable signature spell in 3 seconds.

The Waning Spark – Alternatively, once per event, one may call upon me to claim a single racial Recharge Prowess. For even in decline, the spark of my flame endures—and those who bear it endure with the strength of the Dragon.

The Order of Istrado and The Boon of the Phoenix

Ember’s Patience - Once per event, you may call upon the Phoenix’s gentle flame to restore life as per a life spell stored in a spell store. (No item needed).

The Wrathful Flame - Alternatively; once per event, one may surrender patience and call upon the Phoenix’s consuming fire, drawing upon its fury to restore their strength in battle. In that moment, the Phoenix lends its wrath, granting the effect of a Martial Restore Prowess, a renewal born not of calm or balance, but of unbridled flame.

The Order of Jirrah and The Boon of the Hydra

Hydra’s Benevolence: Once per event, you may invoke this boon to gain 10 Body Points, functioning as the High Magic skill Earth’s Bounty. This effect does not stack with other sources of Earth’s Bounty. This boon reflects the Order of Jirrah’s creed: true strength is not found in isolation, but in the shared resilience of the many.

Hydra’s Wrath: Alternatively, once per event, you may declare one Intercept, or one Assassinate, or one Slay (chosen at the moment of use). This boon reminds Chalameria that while mercy binds, justice bites.

The Order of Serratura and The Boon of the Gryphon

Tempered Resolve: When drawing upon the wisdom of the Gryphon and embracing disciplined defense, you may, once per event, call upon this boon to utilize either a Counteract or a Parry. For true strength lies not in striking first, but in standing firm with honor.

Humble Leadership: When guided by the Gryphon’s example of service and humility, you may, once per event, claim either a Scholarly or Racial Recharge Prowess. For the noble heart leads not through command alone, but through sacrifice for others. This boon stands as a testament to the Gryphon’s belief in strength tempered by wisdom, rewarding those who walk the fine line between ambition and humility.

The Order of Voskis and The Boon of the Sphinx

Smoke and Mirrors: The Sphinx shrouds its truths in riddles, clouding the mind and twisting certainty into doubt. When its favor is upon you, commands fall away like sand through an open hand. Once per event, you may call upon this boon to gain a Resist Command. For no chain of words may bind the will that walks in mystery.

The Hidden Path: Alternatively, you could call upon the Sphinx’s riddles to light the unseen road. Once per event, you may reduce the time required for Meditation to three seconds, as clarity pierces the veil of confusion.

The Eternal Puzzle: As a last act, you may burn access to all boons at once, preventing yourself from invoking any boon for the entirety of the season. In return, the Sphinx grants a cryptic reward, for every answer only births another question. Once per season, you may invoke this boon as though you had successfully cast the Lore, Resonance, or Vision ritual, receiving your answer in the form of a cryptic response that may illuminate the truth—or leave you with even greater mysteries.

Special Note: Because of the Sphinx’s devotion to the letter of the law, the Eternal Puzzle may only be claimed if you have not invoked any boon from any Order during the season. This is the true sacrifice demanded by the Order of Voskis and the Sphinx: to relinquish all access to every boon for the entirety of the season in exchange for a singular glimpse into the Eternal Puzzle.
