Averin in History
The Order of Averin finds its roots from all around Chalameria being the result of a fervent group of scholars trying to learn more about the universe. These scholars set the foundation for others to come and safely experiment with magic, quill, and rituals. Drawn to inexplicable phenomenon across the lands, the instability of the Planar Pass was a natural place to build the foundations to support the order and their pursuits. Their numbers quickly grew in rank, and shortly after the Paradox Gates opened, the towers of Noetica were constructed to support the breadth of research.
Averin Today
Members of the Order of Averin can be found observing phenomena all across Chalameria, but call Noetica in northern Laurentium their home. Host to the most renowned celestial scholars, inscriptionists, and ritualists, their interests lie everywhere from the stars above to the stones beneath. Their findings are spread freely across the land, and members to implement them follow shortly thereafter with coffers to support the innovation. Its most valiant members serve as a rotating vanguard who protect the lands from threats, be it extra-planar or elemental, which may come from the Planar Pass or Paradox Gates.
